Meet
JingEn  Chen

JingEn, described by South Florida Classical Review as "an agile player with a polished technique," has garnered numerous accolades. These include winning the University of Miami Concerto Competition (2022) and securing first prize, Piano Schloβ Prize, and YODA Prize at the International Chopin Piano Competition in Asia. She received full scholarships for the Frost Chopin Academy (2021). In December 2022, JingEn performed as a soloist with the Frost Symphony Orchestra at the University of Miami's Gusman Hall.

 

JingEn earned her Bachelor's in piano performance with honors from XingHai Conservatory of Music, China (2015), and an Artist Diploma from Cleveland Institute of Music (2020). She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts at the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music under Professor Kevin Kenner.

 

A passionate teacher, JingEn has extensive experience teaching piano to students of various levels, believing that music enhances emotional understanding and communication.
